The Experience

Haven150 was founded with the purpose of providing recreational therapy for disabled individuals and we have transformed our space into an accessbile farm to serve that purpose.

We have recently opened our venue to businesses and private party rentals.  These rentals help support our mission to serve the disabled community, so thank you in advance for your support!!  See Rental Details for more information on venue rental.

Accessibility is not an afterthought at Haven150.  It has been at top of mind with every step we have taken since our inception.  It isn't perfect, but for a working farm, we feel we're doing pretty well and will continue to adapt as necessary.

Indoor Space

Our indoor space is a newly (2021) constructed climate controlled barn featuring:

• Tables/seating for 60
• Kitchenette/serving area
• Two spacious and ADA compliant bathrooms
• Separate changing room off bathroom with an adult size changing table
• Offset hinges on bathroom doors to give an extra 2" of clearance to the already ADA compliant 32" doors
• 85" Smart TV with built in accessibility features

Outdoor Space

Haven150 is small farm adjacent to a natural wetland area situated on ten acres and  features:

• Paved ADA compliant walkway from indoor space  to gates leading into animal enclosures.
• Large, accessible, lawn space 
• Chicken coop egg laying boxes accessible from coop exterior
• Nature trails of various grade levels

Organizations or groups that provide the following types of services to disabled individuals:

• Recreation Therapy
• Day Services - Job Training
• Day Services - Community Involvement
• Education
• Ally and Advocate Led Groups

We offer a safe space that includes opportunities for structured and unstructured activities:

• Feed our animals (chickens, sheep, alpacas) (under our guidance)
• Enjoy nature - on a hike or relaxing on a bench
• Outdoor games
• Enjoy lunch, indoors or out
• Watch a movie with friends
• Get creative with crafts
• Get some exercise - our trails are as long as you choose

A rental fee* of $40 per hour will apply for events serving disabled individuals or seniors with the following exception:

• No fees are charged for day service providers who come out for volunteer job training or as part of their community involvement programs.

* Sales tax will be added unless you provide tax exempt documentation.
